About Me

Hello!

Welcome to my blog, and more specifically, my about me page! I'm pretty darn excited that you are here!

I'm Shanique, a 30-something scientist from Barbados, living in Indiana. When I'm not writing here, which is, sadly, more than I would like to admit, I'll probably be in the lab.

When I'm not doing either of those, I might be somewhere reading a book, singing or dancing.

But most of all, I love Jesus, and the word of God, which is really what drives me to write this blog, so that I can share what I love with all of you. If you want to hear more about my blog itself, head over to my "Why this blog?" page!

Three random bits of trivia
  1. My favorite book in the bible is actually a tie right now, between Nehemiah (rebuilding and restoring the wall of Jerusalem) and Hosea (God's unfailing and redeeming love)
  2. I'm an INFP, and also an 8w9.
  3. I average about 2-3 books per week in my reading life, and I read across all genres.

My favourite verse right now. (It changes pretty often.)
